On December 27, the three-day ICIT 2017 and its special session ICVIP 2017 were opened at Nanyang Executive Centre in NTU, Singapore.

About 170 experts and scholars from 27 countries and regions including USA, Australia, Canada, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, India, Malaysia, China, Philippines, Japan, Pakistan, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Nigeria, Oman,Indonesia, United Kingdom, Bangladesh, U.A.E, Russia, Iran, Viet Nam, Chile, Jordan, Turkey attended the conference.

After the registration in the morning, in the afternoon of December 27, delegates visited the campus in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

In the morning of December 28 & 29, Prof. Maode Ma, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore delivered an opening speech. Because unable to attend the conference in person, Assoc. Prof. Xuefeng Liang, Kyoto University, Japan made a video presentation to share his research. Prof. Lipo Wang, Prof. Xudong Jiang, Prof. Mao Kezhi, Prof. Chin-Chen Chang gave a keynote speech and plenary speech on their respective achievements and experiences. Participants also express their views, enthusiastically asked questions.

In the afternoon of December 28 & 29, the conference was set up with 12 Sessions. Participants made presentations and discussions over 12 topics, ie Computer software and theory, Computer Science and Application, Communication Network and Wireless Technology, Information System Design and Management, Data Structure and Data Analysis, Information Theory and Multimedia Technology, Video processing and visualization, Image Processing Technology and Methods, Target detection and pattern recognition, Image Analysis and Transformation, Electronic Information Technology and Engineering Applications, and Business Administration and Industrial Informatization.
